The KC Sterilisation case has been designed to store the instrumental in between surgical sessions, to withstand both steam or ethylene oxide sterilization and to be used during surgery. It has been manufactured with anodised aluminium to provide its lightness, stability and resistence to oxidation.
The interior contains Teflon pieces which enable the fixation of the instruments in a way that cannot be damaged during transportation or regular usage in the operating room. Teflon is a material that has a high resistance to temperature, with a low coefficient of expansion or contraction, which ensures that the pieces will remain fixed even after steam sterilisation (135º C).
The arrangements of the holes for steam circulation have been designed in a way that they allow an even sterilisation of all pieces included in the case. In addition, the base has been designed to enable the spare water to be easily drained and prevent stagnation.
